How it works
One record of every car, read by everyone who touches it.
From the moment a car lands to the moment the deal funds, every handoff is written down with its time, in order. Every role reads the same record, framed for the work in front of them. The insight is worked out from that record, never typed in beside it.
01 · Six phases
Landing to delivery, one line.
Time to line runs from the moment a car lands to the moment it is front-line ready: shop work done and live online. Days in inventory keeps counting after that, to the sale and the delivery.

- The Trueline Record for the buyer (planned)
02 · Every role
The same record, framed for the work in front of you.
Each role opens on the work in front of it, on the same record as everyone else. Sublet vendors and buyers work through portals of their own.
The store report card, carrying cost by department and a weekly briefing, every figure opening to the cars behind it.
Live time to line, estimate approvals in one tap, the aging cars, and a forecast line date once an estimate is approved.
Shop loading, parts and sublet work on the same record, and a warning when a job runs past the store’s usual time.
Digital work orders and inspections, a Start tap on each job, and their own report card when the store turns cards on.
The disclosures as gates, certified with a name and a time before the bill of sale prints.
What is front-line ready, what is sold, and when each delivery is promised.
Work orders, photos and invoices in a portal of their own, on the same record as the shop.
A portal for the purchase. The Trueline Record, the car’s certified history at delivery, is planned.
03 · Set per store
Each store runs its own way.
Stores differ in who decides, where the work happens and which system holds the paperwork. Those differences are settings, chosen store by store and recorded with their dates, so the figures always know which way the store was working.
- Who writes the work order
- The sales manager, F&I, or either.
- The delivery inspection
- Trueline’s checklist, or done in the manufacturer’s own system.
- A final quality check
- Before the line, or the line at the last shop job.
- Sites
- One site or several, with every move between them recorded.
- Disclosures
- Certified in Trueline, or the paperwork prepared in the store’s DMS.
- Insight
- Targets the store sets; alerts, briefings and personal report cards, each on or off.
04 · Surfaces
One platform, four surfaces.
Inside a store it is simply Trueline. The names below tell dealers, buyers and OEM programs the surfaces apart, and make clear what each one can and cannot see.

Trueline Floor
The store’s operating platform: advisors, technicians, detail, parts, sales, F&I and managers on one record.

Trueline Record
The certified history that goes home with the buyer at delivery: what was inspected, what was done, and when.

Trueline HQ
The network view for certified pre-owned programs: aggregates only, from dealers who opt in. No store is identifiable.
plannedDealer data stays with the dealer. Nothing reaches an OEM without the dealer’s explicit, revocable opt-in, and what is shared is aggregated and anonymised. People & data has the rest.
